Donald Trump Hits Liz Cheney In Brutal New Statement

President Donald Trump slammed Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) in a new statement on Tuesday after Cheney has publicly criticized him in recent days.

Cheney has recently said that she would not support Trump if he runs for president in 2024, refused to rule out running for president herself, said that Trump should not play a role “in the future of the party or the country,” and suggested that Trump is not one of the leaders in the Republican Party.

“Liz Cheney is polling sooo low in Wyoming, and has sooo little support, even from the Wyoming Republican Party, that she is looking for a way out of her Congressional race,” Trump wrote in a statement. “Based on all polling, there is no way she can win. She’ll either be yet another lobbyist or maybe embarrass her family by running for President, in order to save face. This warmongering fool wants to stay in the Middle East and Afghanistan for another 19 years, but doesn’t consider the big picture—Russia and China!”

Trump also took a shot at The Academy Awards, which saw its viewership plummet to “the smallest audience the award show has ever received,” according to CNBC.

“What used to be called The Academy Awards, and now is called the ‘Oscars’—a far less important and elegant name—had the lowest Television Ratings in recorded history, even much lower than last year, which set another record low,” Trump said. “If they keep with the current ridiculous formula, it will only get worse—if that’s possible. Go back 15 years, look at the formula they then used, change the name back to THE ACADEMY AWARDS, don’t be so politically correct and boring, and do it right.”

“ALSO, BRING BACK A GREAT HOST,” Trump added. “These television people spend all their time thinking about how to promote the Democrat Party, which is destroying our Country, and cancel Conservatives and Republicans. That formula certainly hasn’t worked very well for The Academy!”

Donald Trump Jr. also took a shot at Cheney yesterday after news broke that she was considering a presidential run in 2024.

Trump Jr. tweeted: “I can only assume this means that Lincoln Project Liz is planning a primary challenge to Joe Biden for the Dem nomination because God knows she’d be lucky to break 5% running in the 2024 Republican primary.”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) took a veiled shot at Cheney yesterday, saying, “There’s a responsibility, if you’re gonna be in leadership, leaders eat last. And when leaders try to go out, and not work as one team, it creates difficulties.”
