Graphic Footage Shows Store Employee Gunned Down In The Street Over A Shoe Raffle Dispute

Los Angeles police report that a store employee was shot and killed outside the Shoe Palace in the Fairfax district Wednesday. The shooting happened just before 12:30 p.m. outside the store located at Melrose Avenue.

The 26-year-old victim, Jayren Bradford, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

Mr. Bradford, was shot Wednesday afternoon as he tried to break up a fight that was happening outside the Shoe Palace, colleagues tell FOX 11. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fight stemmed from an argument involving a shoe raffle.

According to detectives, the victim was not working at the time but was on his way to the store when he was gunned down. Bradford was alleged to have been trying to break up the argument when the thugs turned their rage toward him.

An investigator working on the case told ABC7, “There was some sort of dispute over that raffle. The victim arrived and a male Hispanic pulled a gun and fired a shot at the victim, causing this injury.”

The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored sedan and has yet to be aprehended.

The senseless shooting was caught on video from multiple angles, where you can see the victim being approached by a group of a dozen or so, mostly men.
