VIDEO: Sen. Van Hollen Confirms Taxpayers Funded His Trip to El Salvador — Where He Sipped Margaritas with Deported MS-13 Gang Member

In a stunning admission, Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen has confirmed that U.S. taxpayers footed the bill for his recent trip to El Salvador, where he reportedly met with and sipped margaritas alongside a deported MS-13 gang member.

The senator’s trip has raised eyebrows across the political spectrum, but especially among conservatives and America First supporters who view this as yet another tone-deaf display of misplaced Democrat priorities.

While millions of hardworking Americans face economic pressure and our borders remain under siege, Senator Van Hollen appears to have used public funds to cozy up with a known criminal, deported for his ties to the notorious MS-13 gang, which President Trump has long called out as a violent menace to American communities.

“What kind of message does this send to victims of gang violence, to the American people who want law and order, and to every family who’s lost a loved one to illegal immigrant crime?” asked one congressional aide. “Instead of standing with ICE or our Border Patrol, Van Hollen is raising a glass with a thug.”

The trip has sparked outrage, especially as the Biden administration and its allies continue pushing open-border policies and demonizing Trump-era immigration enforcement. Critics say this is just another example of Democrats choosing criminals over American citizens.

As President Trump said in a recent statement: “I was elected to take bad people out of the United States. I must be allowed to do my job.”

Senator Van Hollen has not denied the nature of the meeting but has downplayed the backlash, calling it a “fact-finding mission.” But for many Americans, this isn’t diplomacy — it’s a taxpayer-funded disgrace.
