On Saturday morning, a car accident that occurred on the Long island Expressway near Little Neck Parkway in Douglaston, New York, involved several vehicles.

Emergency workers responded to a call that reported a “pileup collision” at approximately 6:17 a.m., the FDNY announced.

As a result of the pileup, 13 people have been injured. However, none of the injuries were life threatening, officials said.

Six cars, including one tractor-trailer, were affected in the crash while driving east near Exit 32.

Video footage taken from the accident has been circulating online depicting multiple trucks involved in the crash. In addition, at least one rig seemed to have major front-end damage.

The victims were transported to North Shore University Hospital and New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens.

The eastbound lanes on the highway were briefly shut down after the accident, authorities stated.

Additionally, the cause of the crash has not immediately been made clear.
