A massive fire destroyed two commercial buildings in Los Angeles on Wednesday and took down power lines as firefighters battled to get it under control.
San Bernardino County firefighters rushed to the commercial yard in Adelanto, California, after 911 callers reported hearing explosions and seeing flames at around 4.35pm.
Firefighters at the scene were trying to prevent the flames from spreading to a former fire station, strip mall or nearby homes, Los Angeles Times reported.
Aerial video footage shows thick plumes of smoke rising from the fierce blaze, which engulfed two commercial buildings.
