Elon Musk told Disney CEO Bob Iger to “go f***” himself, after claiming that major advertisers from big name companies are currently “blackmailing” him.

On Wednesday, the Spacex CEO appeared at The New York DealBook Summit where he spoke with Andrew Ross Sorkin about how advertiser manipulation tactics will kill the company.
“What this advertising boycott is going to do is, it is going to kill the company,” Musk said. “And the whole world will know that those advertisers killed the company.”
He continued, telling Iger to “go f***” himself after he discussed pulling their advertisements from X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, which Musk now owns.
“Don’t advertise. If someone is going to try and blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money? Go f— yourself,” Musk said. “Go f— yourself, is that clear? Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience. That’s how I feel, don’t advertise.”
Later in the interview, Musk apologized for “supporting a conspiracy theory” in response to a post on X that sparked a departure of major advertisers.
Disney and other large brands discontinued their advertising plans with the platform due to a report by the far-left organization Media Matters which claimed that their ads had been appearing alongside “pro-Nazi content.”
Musk responded by filing a “thermonuclear lawsuit”, saying that the Media Matters research “completely misrepresented the real user experience” on the site in order to “mislead advertisers.”
The company also claimed that the group’s reporters “repeatedly refreshed their feeds to find rare instances of ads” close to the article.
